The Release
Brazilian label Clash Music’s fifth release couples Marko Nastić with an impressive line up of Brazil’s finest on the ‘Belgrade Connection EP’. The label is the platform for the same-name club night – famous for welcoming DJs such as Vitalic, Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier and Karl Bartos (Kraftwerk) – to make its very own musical footprint.  The EP serves up three original tracks of deep, driving, tech house grooves: ‘Onesided’, ‘Bside’ and ‘Bugged’. Remixes from Mau Mau, Re Dupre and Elemental X offer listeners a real insight into the thriving Brazilian club scene. Dense groovy tech house from Re Dupre and Elemental X and deep house with an introspective atmosphere from Mau Mau.

The Artists
Marko Nastić was at the forefront of the Serbian club scene during the countries most troubled times, gaining accolades from Mixmag, The Face, DJ and NME. He was behind techno label Recon Warriors and later Recon Light as well as being a member of DJ crew ‘Teenage Techno Punks’. Following the war Marko’s distinctive three-deck style allowed him to DJ across Europe and around the world. Since 2006 he has presented ‘Music For Body And Soul’ on the countries leading radio station, B92. His previous releases have graced labels such as Recycled Loops, Earresistible Musick, Night Light Records, Tronic, Sleep Is Commercial and many more.

Mau Mau began his DJ career at the legendary Madame Sata Club, São Paulo and is classed as one of the pioneers of the electronic music in Brazil. His individual style and skills fuse a mix of house and techno with Brazilian beats and swing seeing him feature on Mo Music, Trama, Tropic Records and more.

Re Dupre continues the São Paulo connection, with the owner of the Miami Underground Records and Miami Sessions Records having remixed the likes of Dirty Vegas, Paolo Mojo and many more. He had previously featured on the Noir Music, Klimaks, Aenaria Music and Adapt Recordings.

Elemental X completes the Brazilian line up, returning to Clash Music after his ‘Follow The High Heels EP’ release. Andre’s also had releases on Lo Kik Records, TMM Records, Different Is Different and more since he started producing back in 2007.  He has grabbed the attention of big name DJs such as Dave Clarke, Dubfire, Mauro Picotto, Eric Entrena and Anthony Pappa.

Clash Music is back with its 4th release called Disco Charge by Junior C. The young Dj and producer has a residency at Clash Club and is currently one of the hottest name from brazilian scene.

Sparkling up the EP ith remixes that have been already shaking some dance floors, we have no less than François Dubois aka Funk D’ Void and Re Dupre, another ascending producer with previous releases in partnerships with Anderson Noise, Paolo Mojo, Gui Boratto, D-Nox & Beckers and it is the man behind Miami Underground Records.

The original version from Disco Charge has moving rhythm where vocals and synths are mixed with exciting ambience. The remix from François Dubois goes further on the techno sound much like his previous productions , presenting an introspective and tense atmosphere. Finally,  Re Dupre complete this release with a remix more inclined to deep house which has everything to please the most variated tastes of Djs and electronic music lovers.

Pe & Ban e Elemental X

O selo musical Clash Music surgiu com o propósito de lançar músicas e artistas que representem o estilo musical característico do clube. Em seu terceiro lançamento, programado para o dia 11 de Julho, o selo apresenta três nomes que estão em franca ascensão na cena eletrônica nacional há algum tempo e mais recentemente também no cenário internacional . São eles a dupla Pe & Ban, representados por Rene Castanho e Ban Schiavon e o projeto Elemental X de André Salata.

O EP chamado Follow the High Heels possui 4 faixas originais, duas delas produzidas por Pe & Ban e duas por Elemental X. Pe & Ban é a dupla formada por Renê Castanho e Ban Schiavon. Com ampla experiência atuando como DJs e produtores musicais, os dois começaram a trabalhar em conjunto em 2009 e logo despertaram a atenção de selos nacionais e internacionais. Lançaram a música Workaholic, pelo selo 1605 Music Therapy, que saiu em uma compilação juntamente com Lutzenkirchen, Wehbba, Piatto e o big boss Umek.

André Salata, o nome por trás do projeto Elemental X já teve suas faixas aclamadas por grandes nomes da música eletrônica como Dave Clarke, Dubfire, Wehbba, Murphy entre outros. Atualmente é considerado um dos nomes mais importantes da nova geração de produtores nacionais com diversas faixas já lançadas.

Pe & Ban and Elemental X

Clash Music has been launched as a platform for the club to make its very own musical footprint. On its 3^rd release, scheduled for July 11^th , the label brings to the audience three names who are booming in the nacional electronic music scene for a while and more recently also internationally. They are the duo Pe & Ban, represented by Rene Castanho and Ban Schiavon and the project Elemental X a.k.a Andre Salata.

The EP called Follow the High Heels features four original tracks, two of them produced by Pe & Ban and the two others by Elemental X. Pe & Ban present us with highly danceable tracks, with fat basses and involving grooves. They are an instant invitation to the dancefloor. By the other hand, Elemental X toasts us with two explosive tracks which represent the new techno’s essence, featuring hypnotic atmosphere and remarkable drums.

We start with a series of collaborations between international partners and local artists bringing them together into a clash of sounds. The first clash is between two long time friends and party partners, Christian Smith and Renato Cohen. Each of them delivered uplifting and full of energy tracks for the peak time of a dj set.
